Roseland Homestead: Elegance of a bygone era
Roseland Homestead offers a bed and breakfast (B&B) facility.
Roseland Homestead is an enchanting and elegant residence surrounded by heritage style closed gardens.
Built at the turn of the early 1900, and carefully and authentically restored by John and Micheline Guy, Roseland Homestead takes you back to an era of Edwardian splendour.
Our Federation Homestead features 2 guest bedrooms which adjoin a parlour (dining area) and bathroom.
The rooms are lavishly furnished in keeping with the Federation theme.
Guests immediately relax and feel at home as they are warmly welcomed by their hosts, John and Micheline.
They are encouraged to settle in and explore the Homestead and its surrounds.
Guests can enjoy the ambience of the sitting room, where they can relax to music, read a book, check out the variety of board games or just chat and enjoy each other’s company.
Meals are a highlight at Roseland Homestead, as Micheline is renowned for her hearty cuisine.
So, if a lunch or an evening meal is required guests need look no further.
Guests have many choices including, private dining in the parlour, or a ‘dress up’ occasion in the opulent dining room where they can savour good company and food for many hours in candlelight, with fine china and gleaming silverware.
This can be preceded by pre dinner drinks at the bar in the Gurkha Room.
The enclosed gardens offer seclusion, tranquility, bird song and the busy humming of the bees.
Outdoor dining is an absolute joy, particularly under a star studded sky.
